Rubella has not been completely eradicated globally, but it has been eliminated in many regions of the world.
As of 2022, rubella has been eliminated in the following regions:
Americas, Europe, Western Pacific, and Southeast Asia.
However, rubella still circulates in other parts of the world, including Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.
